The "Sweet Poznan" tour starts by meeting your guide on the steps of the Town Hall or at any agreed location. You will then visit to the Old Market Square, where you will visit the Pillory, the Merchants' houses, the façade of the Renaissance Town Hall, and the Parish Church, one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in the country. In Kolegiacki Square you will see the Goats sculpture.
Another highlight of the tour is a lollipop-making workshop at a local manufactory. Meet the lollipops from Poznan, gluten-free, with natural colourings. Watch how a variety of sweet delicacies are created step by step and make a lollipop with your own hands.
Too many sweets? So, we recommend that you see the monument of the 15th Poznan Lancer Regiment, the Przemysl Hill, the Royal Castle, the Scales and the Bamber Monument.
However, what would "Sweet Poznan" be without the St. Martin`s croissants? You will learn about their recipe, legends associated with the recipe, parts of the Poznan dialect, and you will get a chance to bake the croissants.
For organised groups, apprentice certificates and a joint photo will be provided.
A guided tour of Poznan? We can organise a lunch break for you with traditional regional dishes.
